Farewell to my Dogfather

My adored dogfather is moving overseas for an uncertain length of time and already I miss him.I heard that he's going to a place called Paris,I get the impression that it more than a short drive away. Merde!! ( WOW I'M BILINGUAL!)
In our last time together he told M and me about the book "A Dog's Life" by Peter Mayle and together we read his "Advice to the Young Dog". He also talked to me about my responsibilities as an almost adult dog - I turn one very soon - scary to admit but it is time for me to step up.

  1. Greetings Steve -- it's good to see you back on the interwebs! The human has been bustling about the last few days doing this and that and getting settled in a place that's really quite close to being its own little château -- he promises to show me off in it soon!
No hounds on the premises but plenty out walking in the street, and I'm glad to say the incidence of poo on the footpath has greatly diminished since our last visit.
Do keep well and all the best for moving into your new domain -- I'll be in touch soon!
    xx H

Thank your human for his postcard - I loved it! Moving has been deeply confusing but now things are settling down it is great to have a big backyard and D living with us. Your new place looks really cool B showed us your photos. How do we get to look at them from our place?
